Coming out shortly, Bhagawan moved into the bhajan hall. Gliding through He exited through the rear entrance, to glide past the lower portico coming onstage at 1800 hrs. , through the doctors' block. As Bhagawan sat on, it appeared that His attention was 'riveted' on a special group of men and women in 'green scarves'. This fortunate lot was from Orissa, belonging to the 'Orissa Flood Rehabilitation Housing Project' sponsored by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.   In another five minutes, Bhagawan moved down the dais, moving towards the group at the ladies' side. Blessing the group with His closer presence, moving through the rows, Bhagawan gave away sarees to the group with His own hand and as He glided through, the group was permitted to take Padanamaskar. These 'Anathas turned Sanathas' were a blissful lot in His presence and one could see many a teary-eyed face with great love and feeling writ on them...a great feeling of Gratitude!. The entire contingent was blessed with Vibhuti prasadam also. After spending ten minutes at the ladies' side, action was shifted into the gents' side where a ditto blessing act was repeated.   Returning onto the dais, Bhagawan sat on adorning the centre-stage...Bhajans went into a high gear with added vigour and enthusiasm...It was 1950 hrs. and the twilight was slowly creeping in stealing her share of joy at the auspicious sight of The Lord! ...And Bhagawan indicated for Mangala Arathi. Leaving the dais, Bhagawan glided into the ladies' side retiring for the day, at 1900 hrs., leaving His stamp of "Love and Compassion" in many a heart and mind.
