New Year evening, 1 Jan 2008
		Happy New Year! University alumni perform a colorful bangra dance and then pay their individual respects to Swami. A brass band composed of university alumni perform, with singing also. Students then recollect past events with Swami. At about 43 minutes into the video, Swami gives His discourse. Arathi ends this video.

New Year morning, 1 Jan 2008
		Happy New Year! University alumni parade in with flags, followed by Vedic chanters. The college band plays. We hear an impromptu speech by a University alumnus —Swami materials a necklace for him after the speech. Various people speak privately with Swami, as we hear a beautiful version of Ave Maria. The University brass band plays. We then get to watch as the college boys sing bhajans for 45 minutes. Arathi ends this video.

		Southern California and Hawai A play titled "The Boy Jesus" is performed, insterpersed with beautiful Christmas carols. After the play, the region 8 (USA) Sai Choir from California sings a number of songs. Swami talks to some of the devotees, and Arathi follows.

82nd Birthday Celebrations, 23 Nov 2007 82nd Birthday celebrations The celebrations started at 9AM, with parades leading Bhagavan into Sai Kulwant Hall. The Carnatic music duo Malladi Rama Prasad and Malladi Ravikumar performed. Then, five couples, annointed Swami, with Anil Kumar explaining the signifance of he ceremony. 		Hariharan sings The evening of24 July had devotees gathered in Kulwant Hall captivated by an awe-inspiring performance by Padmashree Hariharan of the "Colonial Cousins" fame. Hariharan, well trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music, has had great success in his fusion experiments. Though he started his career as a Ghazal singer, he found a grander following in fusion music with his album in 1996. Since then he is much sought after in the light music scene as well.

Chennai Water Project For decades Chennai was a city without water, many forced to three jugs of water per family, filled from trucks which transported sadly limited supplies to the people. Sathya Sai Baba promised to bring water to the community, and the sparkling flood filled the canal on 27 November 2004, Baba's birthday according to the Hindu calendar. 350kb 100kb 20kb . Distress and Relief: The Story of the Sathya Sai Baba Water Project One of Sathya Sai Baba's greatest service projects has been his amazing on-going project to supply fresh drinking water to over 700 remote villages in rural India. The people of these impoverished villages had for many years been without drinkable water until 1995 when Swami began construction on this massive undertaking.
