All these scenes joined up together and all the gathering was completely mesmerized in the divine chanting of god's name, sai stood there giving his infectious smile and the entire gathering were blessed a darshan which cannot be seen for many times in their lives...
Bhajans started around 5 pm and lights switched on... All eyes glued to swami arrival..... and there comes the moment at 5.15 pm. Swamy arrives in wheel chair and went for rounds around the hall.... so many souls were blessed by the closest physical darshan and eyes were filled with tears.. and a blind man whose eyes were filled with Ganga and Yamuna and eyes looking at the heavens... he can only hear that swamy passed besides him, but enjoyed the bliss through his heart..... and after 15 mins swamy is back to the center stage and enjoyed the bhajans.... and around 5.40, swamy turned back indicating as if is he about to leave... the singers shouted
" Swami..Swami.. Swami... " with their full pitch... and to the surprise of all, Swamy turns his back again facing the huge devotee crowd and blessed all of us with his beautiful discourse which lasted for about an hour till 6.45pm.... Here is the essence of the points from the discourse...
Concentrate on the Name... Name itself is everlasting... The form which you see today may disappear one day.. There is saibaba, Rama, Vishnu,etc... but only the name remains, form does not remain.. saying so swamy narrates the incident from Ramayana...
When Rama and his company went to the tip of Indian ocean and were thinking on how to cross the ocean to reach Lanka, Hanuman and other monkeys threw stones in the water to construct the bridge on the advice of lord Rama... but they went in all directions and bridge was not formed. Everyone was worried on seeing this... even sages told to Rama, that it is foolishness to even think of crossing the ocean by throwing stones...
Listening to them Rama calls hanuman and tells him to write Rama on stones on and throw them. Even then the same result.. stones went in all directions.. then Rama calls hanuman and Jambavant once again and says to write 'Ra' on one stone and 'Ma' on another and throw in the ocean.. To everyone's surprise, the stones on which 'Ra' was written and stones on which 'Ma' was written joined together and formed the bridge... The letters 'Ra' and 'Ma' does not have any significance when they are separate.. they have a meaning when they are joined together.....

Today lot of devotees spend time in spending a lot of money on pooja, vrata's, etc and are least bothered to chant the name of god. They are interested in boasting themselves they have donated so much of money in god's name. Bhagawan is not pleased with all these money related things.... he will be only pleased by your utterance of his name. any name can be uttered, but it will reach only one heart, the universal soul that exists in all...
At golden temple in Amritsar, devotees are engaged in continues chanting of god's name. Chanting of god's name is the best way to please god. no other money related things attract god. In fact god himself gives money, how can one please by giving the same back to him.. people are foolish to think like that...
MONEY COMES and GOES...
MORALITY COMES and GROWS...
So concentrate on the chanting of god's name.... He sings a bhajan....
HARI BHAJANA BINA SUKH SHANTHI NAHIN...
HARI NAAM BINA ANANDA NAHIN...
JAPA DHYANA SAMYOG NAHIN...
BHAGAWAN BINA KOI APNA NAHIN...

Sitapatim raghukulanmaya ratna deepam...
Aajanubhahum aravinda dalayataaksham...

Swamy continues delivering his divine gems....
What is Service... Service does not signify mere giving money for charities.. it signifies serving the needy person as if you are serving the lord... expand the Atma Tattwa which is inherent in yourself and serve the needy people around you. while doing so attain lord's name and do it so that it reaches the lord. Many sages and rishi's perform penances, yagnas,etc ... of what use they are... other than attaining liberation for themselves which is an act of self gain and nothing else. Serve at the slightest of chances you get attaining the name of the lord and nothing else... money does not matter, only your chanting of name matters... name itself is eternal..
The five elements : SATHYA, DHARMA, SHANTHI, PREMA, AHIMSA are the basic entities around which the world revolves.
SATHYA: It symbolizes the eternal TRUTH which has NO FORM.... It has only name... DHARMA evolves from SATHYA and once again has no FORM... only name.... From these two, evolves SHANTHI,.. which signifies PEACE... from where can one attain peace? Nothing but inside... Devotees chant prayers, do all sorts of sadhana for peace. They go to temple to see god, but close their eyes in doing so... if you observe carefully they went to temple to see god, but did they do it when they are actually seeing him.... NO.. they are closing their eyes.. GOD does not have FORM.. he is your HRUDAYESHWARA (indweller of your heart).... Merge with him by following the principles of SATHYA and DHARMA, then SHANTHI will come automatically to you... When there is PEACE,, your heart will be filled with LOVE....
You will have no hatred for anything, no ego, no jealous, and all the six essential enemies are gone and hence evolves the last one: AHIMSA.... So practice truth... do not utter false even if one attempts to kill you.. practice truth all the time.. It is the one which saves you from all problems..
When the monkeys followed practising the truth, the name of RAMA by writing it on the stones, they were able to build the bridge and cross the OCEAN and fight with the enemies and win over Lanka.
Similarly by chanting the name of the lord, cross the ocean of samsaara and win over the enemies which reside inside you...
Saying so swamy concludes his speech.... and devotees started singing bhajans of Rama..... RAAMA NAAMA TARAKAM SADA BHAJORE.....
Aarti was completed and wait.... swamy is still seated.. he is not leaving the place.. now devotees are testing his patience today..... wow.. what a sight.... he is still there and waved his hands and blessed the entire gathering with his infectious smile....

Sri Sathya Sai Baba is in His Brindavan Ashram- Brindavan ashram, Whitefield Bangalore
| Wednesday, May 21, 2008: Bhagawan left for Brindavan by car this morning. He drove out from His residence at 7.30 am in the Mercedes Benz to Sai Kulwant Hall, and moved past the verandah to accept Arati from the car and move out through the Gopuram gate. Swami reached Brindavan - Whitefield this afternoon to a grand welcome by devotees. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Monday, May 19, 2008 Devotees from East Asian countries were seated in the centre of Sai Kulwant Hall this evening for Buddha Poornima celebrations. Bhagawan came around 5 o'clock in His chair and moved up the centre of the Hall and came to the verandah from the Eastern side of the mandir. After Swami came to the stage, the half-hour programme of songs got underway. After the choir selections, the devotees began singing Bhajans. After a few minutes of their Bhajans, the students sang a Bhajan with Alap as Swami blessed the conductor of the Buddhist group with a chain. Bhagawan moved to the interview room, and at half-past six accepted Arati before retiring for the day.
